Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Asire across the web, iOS, Android, and desktop apps. By creating an account or using Asire, you agree to them.

Last updated 21 September 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Robinson March ("Asire", "we", "us"), governing your access to and use of Asire's website, apps, and API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, accepting a workspace invitation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" in these Terms means both you and it.

2. What Asire is

Asire is a workspace, project, and task collaboration product: teams organize work into workspaces, break it into projects and tasks, assign it, discuss it via comments and chat, and call each other, all within a shared workspace with role-based access.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Asire.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential; you're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, at the contact below.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.

4. Workspaces, roles, and organizational responsibility

  • A Workspace Owner (the workspace creator) and Admins have broad control over a workspace: they can see and manage every project in it, invite and remove members, and manage workspace settings.
  • Members and Viewers see only the projects they've been explicitly added to.
  • The Workspace Owner and Admins are responsible for who they invite into a workspace, and for the legality of the content their workspace's members put into it. We provide the tool; the organization using it is responsible for how its members use it.
  • Removing someone from a workspace revokes their access to that workspace's content, but doesn't retroactively remove content they already contributed while a member — see the Privacy Policy for how shared content works.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Asire to:

  • Upload or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing on someone else's rights.
  • Upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, workspace, or system.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service, or interfere with its normal operation (including rate limits or availability for other users).
  • Use the Service to send spam, or to build a competing product using data obtained through it.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a workspace or organization.

We can suspend or terminate access for accounts or workspaces that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

6. Your content

  • You and your organization retain ownership of the content you put into Asire — tasks, comments, chat messages, files, and everything else you create.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, back up, and display that content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your task to the teammates you assigned it to, or sending you a push notification about it).
  • We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it to train third-party models or share it outside the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

7. Calls, chat, and notifications

  • Voice and video calls are relayed live between participants and are not recorded or stored by Asire. If you record a call through some other means, you're responsible for complying with applicable consent/recording laws and telling the other participants.
  • Calling and messaging use your device's data connection; standard data charges from your carrier may apply.
  • By using the Service, you agree to receive service-related push notifications and emails (for example, task assignments, mentions, and workspace invitations). These aren't marketing messages and can't be fully disabled while keeping core functionality, though you can control device-level notification permissions.

8. Third-party sign-in and services

Asire integrates with third-party providers — Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, LiveKit for calls, and others described in the Privacy Policy — to operate the Service. Your use of those providers' sign-in flows is also subject to their own terms.

9. Fees

Asire is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans in the future, pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly before you're charged anything, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

10. Our intellectual property

The Asire name, logo, and the software itself (excluding your content) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose — nothing here grants you rights to our trademarks or source code.

11. Termination

  • You can stop using the Service, or request account deletion, at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page.
  • A Workspace Owner can remove a member from their workspace at any time, which revokes that member's access to the workspace's content.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if the Service is discontinued — where practical, we'll give notice first.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss, and we recommend not relying on Asire as your only copy of anything genuinely irreplaceable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asire and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50,000 Naira, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria. Before filing a claim, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally first.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll update the "last updated" date, and for material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Asire after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
